The Great Commission

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
                                                                                                          Matthew 28:19-20

THE GREAT COMMISSION GIVES CLEAR VISION

Vision
That every man, woman, and child would have repeated opportunities to hear and respond to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Mission
We exist to equip people to live gospel life rhythms of communion, community, and commission.

Values
In dependence on the Holy Spirit, we commit to building a body with the following values:
  • Intimacy with God is our first priority. (Everything else flows from our intimacy with Him.)
  • There is only "One Church" in the Savannah River Area. (The other churches in this city are our companions, not our competitors.)
  • God uses multiple gifts to lead and equip His body. (Jesus is the head of the church and His vision is our “senior pastor.”)
  • Reaching a city will not happen through addition; it will take multiplication. (We’re committed to the multiplication of disciples, missional communities, and churches.)
  • To reach every man, woman, and child in the city; you will need to mobilize every man, woman, and child in the church. (Every member must take responsibility for the vision God has placed in our hearts.)
